About Natasha Deen
Natasha Deen’s family moved from Guyana, South America to Canada to escape the country’s growing racial and political violence. Before she became a writer, she worked for the provincial government and literacy organizations dedicated to helping kids and adults become better readers. Since then, she’s written stories for kids, teens, and adults. Her books include Burned, Sleight of Hand, and Guardian, which was a CCBC Best Pick for Kids & Teens, a Sunburst Award nominee, and won a bronze Moonbeam Award. Natasha lives in Edmonton, Alberta where she spends a lot of time arguing with her cats and dogs about who is the boss of the house.
